Before Booking A Grand Canyon Destinations tour

Are Skywalk tickets included in our tour price?

Grand Canyon Destinations does not include Skywalk tickets in the price of your tour. But you also have the option to add it.

What is the difference between booking tickets to the Skywalk with us or at the Grand Canyon?

If you book the tickets to the Skywalk with us you do not have to wait for the large line of people waiting to buy them at the West Rim.

What are your pick-up locations?

We offer complimentary pickups and drop offs near and around most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip and downtown. Please call us directly at 702-888-1883, so that we can help arrange transportation that is a convenient meeting spot.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours from the start of the tour. Cancellations less than 24 hours before a tour will not be refunded. To be considered for a refund, please send your communication to info@tourorders.com.

Are there any additional fees or surcharges?

There are no fuel surcharges, and there are no other charges on the day of the tour.

What forms of payment do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

You may also finance your trip through PayPal Credit and incur no interest if you pay in full within six months.

What is your policy on price updates?

All prices are subject to change without notice.

Tour Information

Do you stop at the Hoover Dam?

No, we do not stop at the Hoover Dam on the way to the Grand Canyon. However, we do offer a Hoover Dam Classic Tour which travels exclusively to the Hoover Dam.

How much time will you spend in the Grand Canyon?

Approximately, three hours for all South Rim tours and four hours for all tours at the Grand Canyon West Rim.

Does the tour include food and beverage?

We provide bottled water on all tours. A light breakfast snack and deli sandwich box lunch is included on our day trip tours to the Grand Canyon.

Do you accept gratuity?

Tips are accepted and appreciated for a job well done.

Do you have to be super fit to walk the Grand Canyon?

Our day trips are not strenuous hikes, and typically you have a few hours to move at a pace that is comfortable for you. Guests do not have to be super fit to sightsee on our day trips.

What time do your tours begin?

All tour details can be found on our website . There you will find the pick-up times. All times are approximate and subject to change. We send all guests an email/ text the evening before the tour with the details for your pick up.

What items should we bring?

Bring your camera to capture and preserve beautiful memories. You will need a government issued photo ID for all flight tours. Other helpful things to bring are beverages with a screw-on cap, sunscreen, sunglasses and cash or credit cards if you are planning to purchase anything such as souvenirs!

What should we wear?

We recommend comfortable walking shoes and for the summer months’ wear sunblock and hats for protection. Dressing in layers is also suggested as summer monsoon storms are common. For the winter months’ dress in warm layerable clothing.

Can I bring luggage?

Luggage is not permitted aboard the vehicle. Only small backpacks or handbags available for inspection due to security restrictions at Hoover Dam.

Is there a tour guide on the bus?

The standard Grand Canyon tour companies use a driver and tour guide in one. At Grand Canyon Destinations, we value safety and customer service. That is why we have a separate driver and tour guide on every tour bus. Your dedicated tour guide will be there to guide you, share facts and stories, answer your questions, and help you with any needs throughout the tour.

Vehicle Information

Is there a bathroom located on the bus?

Yes. For your convenience, there is a unisex restroom on the tour bus.

How many people do your tour vehicles seat?

The tour buses seat up to 56 guests. We also offer a small group experience in our luxury vans which seat up to 14 guests for maximum comfort.

Do your tour buses have seatbelts?

Yes, every seat on the tour bus has lap belts. Our custom luxury vans have seatbelts and airbags.

Does your vehicle include A/C and heating?

Yes, there are air conditioning and heating units in the vehicles.

Does the bus have free WiFi?

Yes. There is WiFi free of charge, although it is dependent upon a clear cell phone signal.

Does the tour price listed include all taxes? Are there any “surprise add-ons?”

Our Las Vegas Grand Canyon Tours have no hidden costs. Pricing includes the tour reservation taxes. Gratuities for the tour guides (if utilized) and bus drivers are not included in our prices. Gratuities are paid at the time you are on the tour.

All tour details are on the tour’s detail page on our website/brochures and will provide additional information regarding any “optional tours” that are available with each and how they can be purchased.

How far in advance should we make our reservations?

We recommend you make your reservations as soon as your travel dates are set. This way you can secure your reservations as soon as possible, especially during popular and seasonal dates. There are capacity limits on most tours and the closer to the date, the more likely of it being sold out.

Can I make a deposit/partial payment or do I have to make a full payment?

Deposits/partial payments are welcome. However, seats are not confirmed until full payment is received by Grand Canyon Destinations. Full payment is due and payable fourteen (14) days prior to the start of the tour. All reservations for tours made less than fourteen (14) days in advance are to be paid in full.

Does this tour have an age restriction?

No, however please keep in mind that we offer full day tours so your children should be able to handle traveling for extended periods.

Cancellation Policy & Other Important Information

Cancellation Policy Information

If cancellation is requested less than (24) hours from pickup time, no refunds shall be given. Please note that we will NOT acknowledge voicemail cancellations. All cancellations must be made directly to Grand Canyon Destinations. We will not accept cancellations made through a third party.

Additional Information

No refund shall be given for any portion of the tour unused by the customer after departure of the tour regardless of any possible reasons. Some tours may require a minimum number of guests to operate. A smaller replacement vehicle may be used in place of a full-size bus. If the tour is canceled, the affected customer will be fully refunded or may choose to take the tour on another day or select a similar tour product as a substitute. Please keep in mind that should a cancellation occur it would be under very special and rare circumstances. We make every effort to accommodate our customers’ requests. We will process cancellations/refunds within one to seven days (1–7) from the receipt of your request. Always be sure to check the Grand Canyon National Park website before your tour to see current park information.
